 My journey into the security industry is rooted in both passion and purpose. Originally from India, I moved to Toronto, Canada, where I graduated in Computer Programming and began a successful career in the tech industry. I was earning well and enjoying my work, but deep down, I always had the dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

Driven by that dream, I launched my first business—a computer repair service—which ran successfully for several years. Unfortunately, my work permit in Canada expired, and as a non-permanent resident, I had to shut down the business and leave the country.

I relocated to Seattle last year, and it was here that my path into the security industry began. I started by working for various security companies and quickly noticed a troubling pattern: many employees weren’t fully committed to the job. I saw dispatch calls being ignored and client safety often taking a backseat. This didn’t sit right with me.

After gaining hands-on experience as a security guard and later working in a managerial role at another company, I realized there was a serious need for a security service that genuinely puts clients first. That realization, combined with my entrepreneurial spirit, led to the creation of Wingman Security.
